"Camille and Nelly became friends ten years ago in Shanghai where they finished their studies, and went to become respectively Photographer and Illustrator, playing with the female curves and the poetry of Nature in its wildest demonstrations.This collaboration started as a picture Camille shot in the Philippines in 2020, which is part of her series «The Song of the Silver Lagoon ».Nelly playfully turned it into a colored drawing in 2022, which actually brings it back to Camille’s first inspiration, Disney’s Peter Pan mermaids from 1953.
